Route map

Review an executive’s recorded route and related events for a day.

Review an executive’s recorded route and related events for a day. Availability depends on the applicable location permission, feature and selected map provider; the selection is limited to your scope.

Select a journey

  1. Open Reports → Route map. Set Date, Team and the required Executive, then select Apply filters.
  2. Review the chronological footprint layer and any recorded stops. Where your permissions allow, visits, breaks, check-ins and check-outs appear as additional layers. The location table identifies each record and time.

Route footprints use recorded points within the login window with reported accuracy of 300 metres or better. Footprint details include battery and accuracy; stops include their start and duration; visits can show address and visit type. Missing points, poor GPS accuracy or absent permissions can make the displayed path incomplete.

Read the map and location table

Use available layer controls to show the recorded categories. Select a marker for its details. Below the map, Location records lists Record, Recorded at, Layer, Latitude, Longitude and Details, with a Map action; sort column headings and use Previous or Next to page. Lines connect recorded locations and do not represent driving directions. Invalid or missing coordinates cannot appear as markers. If more than 2,000 valid points match, narrow the selection. These map screens do not offer a direct CSV export; use the relevant report for permitted downloads.

Example and troubleshooting

For fictional Maya Rao, select the applicable team and executive, then inspect the recorded time and details. If no point appears, confirm access, employee and date or freshness, app recording and valid coordinates. An illustrative map background does not represent a recorded location. Refresh once after changing filters.

Access and recorded points

Route map requires the map and route-map features and route-map report permission. Footprints have recorded accuracy of at most 300 metres and fall inside attendance login windows; the route is based on recorded points, not a continuous proof of travel. Attendance, break and visit markers depend on the relevant permissions and recorded evidence. Narrow a busy date or employee selection to inspect the available points.
