Personal CRM templates
Create and find your own email and proposal templates in the CRM.
Find and create
Open CRM → Templates. Your templates lists up to 500 records created by the signed-in user. All templates, Email and Proposal category buttons and Search templates filter the loaded list; Clear filters restores the full loaded list. The counts describe loaded records, not the filtered results. Pages show 10 rows. Select the name or Edit to open the personal editor.
- Choose Create template, or Create your first template in the empty state.
- Enter a required name containing only letters, numbers and spaces. Select Email Template or Proposal Template, then Create and edit. The record is created immediately and the editor opens. Cancel or × closes the dialog without creating it.
- If the name is already used by any user or global template in the company, select another name.
Personal editor and save limitation
The personal editor uses a rich-text editor with File, Edit, Insert, View, Format, Table, Tools and Dynamic Variables menus. The toolbar includes undo/redo, format, bold/italic, background color, alignment, lists, indent, remove formatting, help and image. Inserted images can be selected from the available gallery. The Dynamic Variables menu inserts Staff Name, Email, Phone; Contact Name, Email, Phone, Company Name; Remarks; Invoice Number, Date, Gross Amount, Receipt Amount, Pending Amount and Status. Use only values supported by the eventual workflow.
Save limitation: saving from the personal editor may require administrator access. A redirect or error does not establish whether the content was saved. Reopen the personal template and compare its content before retrying. If it remains unsaved, ask an administrator to open that template’s editor using the template ID in the personal Edit link and save the supplied content, then verify it from the personal list. The administrator’s global list does not itself list personal records. Saving a template does not itself send a message.
