Attendance First/Last
Review attendance first/last in the Timeclock report.
Opening this view can change attendance: if auto logout and the required setup are enabled, it closes qualifying overdue open entries at shift end plus grace, for the selected user or all company users when All Users is selected. Date and other report filters do not limit that maintenance. Verify the resulting attendance before interpreting the report.
Open and filter
Open Reports → Timeclock → Attendance First/Last. This tab requires attendance reports access; only permitted tabs appear. Choose Start, End and User, then select the search icon. Status: All, OPEN, CLOSED, ADJUSTED, VOID; Source: All, WEB, TEAMSPOOR, API. Limit defaults to 500 and accepts 1–2,000. The date range defaults to the first of the current month through today; reversed ranges are clamped to Start and ranges over 366 days are shortened. Daily defaults to today. Switching tabs retains dates and user but does not retain the other filters.

Columns: User, Date, First Check-In, First Check-In Local, First Check-In Location, Last Check-Out, Last Check-Out Local, Last Check-Out Location, Total Span, Clocked Duration, Non-Clocked Duration, Auto Logout, Auto Reason, Entries, Open, Closed, Sources, Statuses, Timezones. Groups filtered entries by user/day. Total Span runs from first check-in to last check-out; Clocked Duration sums positive closed intervals; Non-Clocked Duration is span minus that sum, floored at zero. Missing endpoints show NA. Location detail depends on location audit permission. Rows shows the number returned; Period shows the chosen range or date. The shared report enhancement adds table search, sorting and 100-row pagination, plus CSV, Excel and PDF exports of matching loaded rows. It does not fetch beyond the source limit. The original table may differ if enhancement fails; wide tables scroll horizontally. If there is a setup warning or no records, ask an administrator to check timeclock setup, permissions and the selected period.
Example and verification
Choose Alex Example and the relevant date to inspect a record. Compare the appropriate date basis and status with the underlying attendance or meeting record; if missing, check permission, user, date and any limit before drawing conclusions.
