Country/State Sales
Open and filter
Open Reports → Country/State Sales. Invoice report scope determines accessible users or teams; an access-restricted message appears when unavailable. Choose All visible users and Date Range, then select the search button to load results. The initial range is month-to-date.
Read the results
The table columns are Country, State, Invoices, Customers, Gross Amount. Groups invoice count, distinct contacts and gross amount by the contact company address. Missing country or state appears as Unknown. It uses invoice date, excludes inactive and void invoices and limits results to 5,000 groups.
Date picker and table controls
The date picker offers Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month and Last Month, plus a custom range. Apply the range and select the search control to reload the report. The table initially shows 100 rows per page and provides Excel, CSV and PDF export controls.
Interpretation and limits
Country and State come from the address linked to the contact, with the state name falling back to its stored address value. Customer count is distinct contacts within each group. The footer adds group customer counts, so a contact appearing in more than one address group can be counted more than once. Gross is invoiced amount, not payment collected. Search and sorting apply to fetched groups; rows have no invoice drill-down. A time-bearing invoice date can fall after the raw end-date midnight bound.
When the enhanced report loads, CSV, Excel and PDF export all loaded rows matching the table search, not just the current page. If enhancement fails, the original table controls can differ; check the visible controls.
Example and verification
If two non-void invoices for one contact in Maharashtra total 12,000, the row shows 2 invoices, 1 customer and 12,000 gross. Check the contact’s company address if the amount appears under Unknown; remember the 5,000-group limit.
