Contact Form 7 lead sender
The Contact Form 7 sender plugin attempts to create a CRM lead when a WordPress form is submitted. This is a code-configured integration, not a CRM settings screen. Confirm that the plugin is installed and compatible with your WordPress site.
The sender reads Contact Form 7 fields named your-name, your-email, your-phone, your-subject and your-message. It combines the subject, message and form title in the lead details. Its department setting defaults to 0; an administrator or developer must arrange the appropriate API credential and department configuration in the plugin before use. Keep credentials private and do not paste them into documentation or support messages.
After an authorized setup, verify a permitted test submission by checking the corresponding CRM lead and intended department. A submitted form does not itself prove that the CRM request succeeded: the plugin does not display its response to the submitter. When WordPress debug logging is enabled, the plugin writes the request URL and response to the debug log; these can contain submitted data and credentials, so handle logs accordingly. The plugin does not skip the normal Contact Form 7 email.
If the lead is absent, ask the site administrator to check field names, configuration and the server-side result before retrying. Availability and provider behavior depend on the deployed integration.
