Search and open

On the Search Lead page, type at least three characters in Search Lead. Suggestions show their type and name, with up to ten displayed. Select a CONTACT suggestion to open its conversation or a COMPANY suggestion to open company information. This is a suggestion picker, not a filterable contacts table. The settings gear opens personal Notes; see Notes. The page sends no search type. Enter a phone number or email address; ordinary names do not return results in this search. Phone search matches part of a number and email search matches the beginning of an address. The search considers up to 50 results and the picker shows up to ten suggestions. Use a known phone or email here, or use the main global search for typed name searches. No result does not prove no record exists.

For example, type a known contact phone or email and select the correct CONTACT after checking the suggestion. Confirm the destination before changing any record.
