Below is a clean, repeatable way to forward only specific IndiaMART emails using Gmail Filters.
Goal
Forward emails from:
…to:
[email protected]<- This is the id which you will get on Indiamart integration page in ZNICRM panel.
Step 1: Add (and verify) the forwarding address in Gmail
- Open Gmail on a computer (filters/forwarding setup is easiest on desktop).
- Click the gear icon (top-right) → See all settings.
- Open the tab Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
- In the “Forwarding” section, click Add a forwarding address.
- Enter:
[email protected] - Click Next → Proceed.
- Gmail will send a verification email/link (or code) to that address.
- To Verify the email:
- Login to ZNICRM (https://dash.znicrm.com) as an Admin.
- Search the lead through global search with email id “[email protected]”
- Check the timeline for the verification link.
- Copy the link and paste on your browser’s address bar.
- Verify the email id by following the instructions given on the screen.
- Back in Gmail, refresh the settings page—your forwarding address should now be selectable.
Tip: If you don’t want all emails forwarded, do not enable global “Forward a copy of incoming mail”. We’ll forward only via a filter.
Step 2: Create a filter that matches those senders
You can create the filter either from the search bar (fast) or from Settings → Filters. Gmail supports forwarding using filters.
Option A (recommended): Use the search bar “advanced” filter builder
- In Gmail, click the sliders icon (Show search options) at the right end of the search bar.
- In the From field, paste this (exactly):
[email protected] OR [email protected] OR [email protected] - Click Search to confirm it finds the right emails (optional but helpful).
- Click Create filter (bottom of the search options box).
Option B: Create filter from Settings
- Gear icon → See all settings
- Filters and Blocked Addresses
- Create a new filter
- Paste the same
ORexpression into the From field - Click Create filter
Important: Use uppercase OR. Gmail treats
ORspecially in search/filter logic.
Step 3: Turn on forwarding for the matched emails
On the “When a message matches this search” screen:
- Tick Forward it to:
- Choose
[email protected]from the dropdown. - (Optional but recommended) Also tick:
- Apply the label: e.g.,
IndiaMART Forwarded(create a new label if you want) - Never send it to Spam (use carefully—only if you trust these senders)
- Apply the label: e.g.,
- Click Create filter.
Step 4 (optional): Forward old matching emails too
If you want existing inbox messages (already received) to forward as well:
- When creating the filter, tick Also apply filter to matching conversations before clicking Create filter.
Quick test
- Find one recent email from any of the three senders.
- Confirm it forwards to
[email protected]. - If it doesn’t, see troubleshooting below.
Troubleshooting (common gotchas)
- Forwarding address not available in dropdown: it’s not verified yet (repeat Step 1).
- You used commas/new lines instead of OR: Gmail won’t interpret that as “any of these.” Use uppercase
OR. - Google Workspace restriction: some company/work accounts block user-level forwarding unless an admin enables it.
- Emails still go to Spam: add “Never send it to Spam” in the filter (only if appropriate), or review your spam settings.
