Adding scrap.me code to Magento is fairly very easy and involves few steps only.<\/p>\n

To add code snippets, you need to include the code in a\u00a0new static block<\/em>, and add it to your web store using a\u00a0Frontend App<\/em>.<\/p>\n

First, be sure to get a thorough understanding of how to insert Static Blocks into your web store by reading\u00a0How to Place a Static Block Using Frontend Apps<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. From the Admin panel, go to\u00a0CMS > Static Blocks<\/strong>\u00a0and click\u00a0Add New Block<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  2. Fill in all the required fields. In the Content field, however, make sure to first click\u00a0Show\/Hide Editor<\/strong>. Then paste in your code snippet or script link. Click\u00a0Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Next, create a new Frontend App from\u00a0CMS > Frontend Apps<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Select\u00a0CMS Static Block<\/em>\u00a0for type. Click\u00a0Continue<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  5. Define a title for the block in\u00a0Frontend App Instance Title<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  6. Click\u00a0Add Layout Update<\/strong>\u00a0in the Layout Updates panel.<\/li>\n
  7. In\u00a0Display On<\/strong>, select which pages to apply this static block to. If you wish to apply it across your entire web store, select\u00a0All Pages<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  8. In the\u00a0Block Reference<\/strong>\u00a0field, select\u00a0Page Footer<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  9. Click\u00a0Frontend App Options<\/strong>\u00a0from the left menu. From this panel, specify the\u00a0static block<\/em>\u00a0that will be included \u00e2\u20ac\u201c this is where you specify the static block that you inserted the code snippet into.<\/li>\n
  10. Click\u00a0Save<\/strong>\u00a0to save these changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once you’ve created a\u00a0static block<\/em>\u00a0with the javascript code (or script source link) as well as the frontend app that references this\u00a0static block<\/em>\u00a0that will be applied to your pages, your script should be running immediately.<\/p>\n

    How to Verify That It Works<\/h3>\n

    To verify that the code snippet or script source link that you added with Frontend Apps, go to any page in your web store, or the specific type of page, if you specified one, right click and select\u00a0View Page Source<\/em>. Pull up the find tool and search for any line of code from the code snippet (preferably a unique line to avoid having to comb through other code to find it).
